When I click to Unsubscribe from Degreed notifications, why am I being taken to a Welcome page?

Issue:

When I click either Unsubscribe or Update Settings in any email notification, I am taken to a Welcome page that says Do you have the skills you need to take on tomorrow? and makes me go through an onboarding.

Cause:

Both the Unsubscribe and the Update Settings buttons take the user to their own Settings > Communications page within Degreed so that they can update their notifications to stop receiving what they don't wish to receive. If you have never completed The Degreed Onboarding Experience, Degreed redirects you to the onboarding first since it expects you to complete it before navigating to any other Degreed pages.
 

Resolution: 

It is expected that you will need to complete the onboarding before being able to manage your Degreed email notifications. Please complete the onboarding so that you can officially unsubscribe from any notifications.
