Why do I not see content recommendations for a Focus Skill on my home page?

Issue:

I have added a Focus Skill to my profile, but I do not see any recommendations for it on my home page. Why is it not showing any content suggestions?

Cause: 

If there are not at least three content items that are tagged with the Focus Skill to recommend, this section is hidden for that skill. The home page also does not recommend the same items repeatedly. In order for a content item associated with a Focus Skill to be displayed, that item must not have been recommended in another section in the last seven days. Additionally, when a Focus Skill is changed, it takes 24 hours for the feed to refresh and show available recommendations for that skill.

You can find content for your focus skill by searching for it specifically — check the following article on how to find content for any given skill, including your Focus Skills: Find Content Related to a Specific Skill —, or you can choose another Focus Skill for your profile.
