What determines whether a user's completion of content will show up on a group feed?

Answer:

In order for a content completion to show on a group feed, the following must be true:

• The content includes a skill tag which is also tagged to the group
• The title and the description of the content include any words which match a skill tag of the group
• The user completing the content is a member of the group

Example: If a group is tagged with the skill Python, any completions of content items that are tagged with Python should show up. Any completions of content items that have Python in their name or in their description should show up as well.

Please note that there is a configuration that only allows recommendations, assignments, and shares to appear on the group feed. If you are an administrator for your organization and would like this set up, please reach out to Degreed Support.
