Why do I see the error message 'Stream (classic) has been deprecated' when accessing a video link?

Issue:

When accessing content in Degreed, a new window opened, but I see only the message below:

'Stream (Classic) has been deprecated.
Stream (on SharePoint) is your new home for videos. Learn more
Contact your M365 admin for more details.'

Why am I unable to see the content?

Cause:

Microsoft Stream (Classic) has been retired. Customers need to transition to the new Stream platform built on SharePoint. You can find more details on Microsoft's announcement page.

Resolution:

Curators will need to relocate Microsoft Stream videos to SharePoint.
