Why don't I see the NEW tag if new content has been added to the pathway?

Issue:

New content has been added to a pathway that I follow. However, the new content is not marked with the NEW label, why?

Cause:

Because you haven't completed any item on this pathway yet. Please note that someone who has never completed any of the pathway content will not see the label, as newly added content does not affect the pathway completion percentage, and technically all pathway content is still new to you.

Resolution: 

When you complete one or more items within a pathway and then a new learning item is added, the NEW label should appear when you access the pathway again.

Additional Note:

When a new item is added to a pathway, all users who follow it and have completed at least one item receive an in-app notification that the content has been added. This notification includes a link to the pathway so users can quickly find new items.

Good to know that, the content is marked as new on the pathway immediately after it is added. However, the in-app notification is sent the next day.
