Issue: When clicking on a SCORM course within Degreed I get redirected to a page that says 'Popup blocked. We attempted to launch your course in a new window, but a popup blocker is preventing it from opening. Please disable popup blockers for this site.' How can I fix this error?
Cause: By default, Google Chrome blocks pop-ups from automatically showing up on the user's screen.
Resolution: Choose one of the options below to fix the error message:
- Allow cloud.scorm.com as a site that can send pop-ups to Google Chrome so the error message does not show up each time you access SCORM content. More information can be found in Block or allow pop-ups in Chrome
- Click Launch Course within the message shown and you will be successfully redirected to the course
- Additionally, in SCORM Cloud, review the Launch Behavior settings and modify them if necessary, as outlined in "Launching your course seamlessly" to ensure the SCORM course launches in the same window.
