Why is the "Created By" field blank in the Pathway (Summary by Pathway) in-app reports?

Issue:

When I create a Pathway (Summary by Pathway) in-app report, I see a number of pathways where the Created By field is blank. Why is this?

Cause:

There are two possible reasons for the Created By field to be blank in a Pathway (Summary by Pathway) report:

• The pathway was created via API (https://developer.degreed.com/reference/post_api-v2-pathways) and did not include the created_by attribute on its creation
• The user has been removed or is no longer part of your organization

In most cases, when the user is no longer a member of the organization, the Created By field in the report shows NULL as its value.

Resolution:

This is working as designed.
