In-app Reporting by Dynamic Admin Group Overview

In-app Dynamic Admin Group Reporting allows you to run reports and view results only for users within your designated Dynamic Admin Groups.

Permissions may be required to access some pages in Degreed or perform specific tasks. For more information, see Permissions in Degreed.

• Required Permission: Manage In-app Reporting and a Degreed role of Technical Admin.
• Optional Permission: Create Dynamic Admin Groups to create and manage dynamic admin groups.

Dynamic Admin Group reporting allows users access to most of the In-app Reporting features, but limits the data they can view to only those users included in their designated Dynamic Admin Groups.

The Reporting > Dynamic Admin Groups page includes a list of all your organization's existing dynamic admin groups. Admins with access to In-app Reporting can assign Report Permissions for individual dynamic admin groups to any user within their organization. This automatically grants In-app Reporting permission to those users, and makes the Reporting page available.

Users can have permission to report on more than one dynamic admin group, and more than one user can have permissions for each dynamic admin group.

When a user with dynamic admin groups permissions selects a report to run, they must select a Dynamic Admin Group from the filter. Only the dynamic admin groups for which they have permission are included in the filter. The report results will only include data for users within the selected group. Additionally, they can generate and download reports, but they cannot schedule reports.

Granting a user permission to report on dynamic admin groups is done on the Dynamic Admin Groups page on an individual user basis, and is not associated with any Reporting permission on the Settings > Permissions page. 

Unsupported Reports

The following reports are summary level reports and do not include data for specific users. Currently, these reports are not supported for reporting by dynamic admin group.

• Assignments (Summary by Assignment)
• Skill (Summary by Skill)
• Opportunities View Data (Summary)

Additionally, the Academies and Content Marketplace In-app reports are not currently supported. 

To Access Dynamic Admin Groups for In-app Reporting

• From the side navigation menu in Degreed Admin, select Reporting > Dynamic Admin Groups.
