Enabling Skipping in Academies

You can enable skipping for steps in an Academy so that a user can proceed to the next step without completing optional steps. When skipping is enabled on a step, and a user chooses to skip it, that step will still count toward their percentage of completed content in the Academy.

To Enable Skipping in an Academy

1. Add steps to an Academy.
2. Click the Allow participants to mark step as "skipped" checkbox for each step you want to enable skipping on.
3. Click Save.

To Edit a Step in an Academy to Allow Skipping

1. Edit steps in an Academy.
2. Click the Actions menu () next to the step you want to update.
3. Select Allow Skip.

By default, Academy steps cannot be skipped. Admins and Contributors must turn on the ability to skip.
